Quantafire purchases NumberMind Studios to add 3D modeling to Quantafire survey users

WEST CHESTER, PA September 23, 2004 -- Quantafire, LLC announced Tuesday that it completed the purchase of NumberMind Studios, LLC, a maker of 3D technology for the gaming market. NumberMind Studios will bring its experience in developing software for developers of games using OpenGL and DirectX to Quantafire's business class products by adding new interface technologies for its line of online analytical and survey software.

Under terms of the private sale, Quantafire will continue to develop and sell QEngineTM and QSoundTM for the immediate future. NumberMind Studios president Brendan Bradley will join Quantafire as general vice president and will be responsible for the daily operations of the merged companies. The merger is expected to be completed by beginning of the fourth quarter in 2004.
